Samphia Foundation successfully conducted a one-day capacity-building workshop for ASHA Workers and Community Health Officers (CHOs), aimed at strengthening their knowledge and skills in the early identification of developmental delays and disabilities in children.

The workshop brought together 50 frontline healthcare professionals and focused on enhancing their understanding of developmental milestones, early screening techniques, timely referral pathways, and effective family counselling. Through interactive discussions, case-based learning, and practical examples, participants gained valuable insights into recognizing early signs of developmental concerns and providing appropriate guidance to families.

Early identification plays a crucial role in ensuring that children receive timely interventions, improving their developmental outcomes and overall quality of life. By equipping frontline health workers with the necessary knowledge and practical skills, the workshop reinforced the importance of community-based early detection and referral systems.

At Samphia Foundation, we remain committed to building the capacity of healthcare professionals and promoting inclusive child development. Together, we can ensure that every child receives the care, support, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
