Kullu, Himachal Pradesh – Aash Child Development Center, an initiative of Samphia Foundation, had the pleasure of hosting 44 nursing students from Chamunda Institute of Medical Sciences and Nursing College for an educational visit aimed at providing practical exposure to child development and rehabilitation services.
The visit offered students an opportunity to gain firsthand understanding of the comprehensive services provided at the center for children with developmental delays and disabilities. They were introduced to Samphia Foundation’s work in promoting early intervention, disability inclusion, and family-centered care.
During the interactive session, the students learned about multidisciplinary rehabilitation approaches, including developmental assessment, therapy planning, and individualized interventions. They also toured the center to observe its facilities and understand the role of different rehabilitation professionals in supporting children’s developmental needs.
The educational visit enabled students to connect classroom learning with real-world practice, helping them appreciate the importance of early identification, timely intervention, and collaborative healthcare in improving outcomes for children.
Samphia Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to Chamunda Institute of Medical Sciences and Nursing College and Nursing Tutor Ms. Shailja for choosing Aash Child Development Center as a learning destination. Such academic engagements play an important role in nurturing future healthcare professionals and strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and rehabilitation services.
We look forward to hosting more educational visits that inspire learning, encourage professional development, and promote inclusive healthcare practices.
