Larankelo, Kullu –In a step towards building inclusive learning spaces and greater community awareness, Samphia conducted a one-day Disability Awareness at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Larankelo. The workshop brought together students and teachers for an engaging session on the early identification of disabilities and the significance of therapy services.

The participants were introduced to the concepts of early intervention, developmental delays, and inclusive education through interactive activities, storytelling, and informative discussions. The session aimed to equip both students and educators with the knowledge and sensitivity to support children with special needs in schools and within the community.

Samphia’s team highlighted the importance of timely referrals and access to therapy-based services like their Early Intervention Program and Therapy on Wheels initiative, which are actively running in the Kullu district.

Teachers expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that such workshops help build empathy and understanding among young minds. The students showed great curiosity and enthusiasm, demonstrating a genuine interest in supporting peers with diverse needs.

This workshop marks another step in Samphia’s mission to promote inclusion, raise awareness, and ensure that every child, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to grow and learn in a supportive environment.
