MISSION
Work with, and in mountain communities to provide key services that eliminate barriers to full integration for children with disabilities.
The foundation of Samphia is deeply intertwined with the journey of Dr. Shruti More, whose life took an unexpected turn in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh.Born and raised in Mumbai, Shruti was an ambitious young woman with a stellar academic record. She earned her Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy from the prestigious Seth G.S Medical College and KEM Hospital, with plans to further her education in the United States.

Director Message
Welcome to Samphia.
At Samphia, we believe that every child, regardless of ability, deserves the opportunity to thrive, learn, and live with dignity. Our journey began with a vision—to create a nurturing space where children with disabilities receive the support, care, and education they need to reach their fullest potential.
Having worked closely with children with disabilities and their families, I have witnessed the struggles they face daily—access to education, therapies, and social inclusion remains a challenge. Samphia was born out of the desire to bridge these gaps and build a community that empowers, uplifts, and transforms lives.
Through our programs, we provide holistic interventions that focus not just on the child but on the ecosystem around them—parents, caregivers, teachers, and society. Our goal is to foster independence, confidence, and joy in every child we serve.
